The terms for using Manga Meera and how your data is handled.
Terms of Service
Manga Meera (the “Service”) is operated by Manga Meera LLC. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. Last updated: 21 August 2026.
1. Who can use the Service
You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live, and at least 13 (or the higher minimum age your country requires). If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you're authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login details secure.
2. Your content & the licence you grant us
You keep ownership of the stories, characters, prompts, uploads and pages you create (“Your Content”). To operate the Service, you grant Manga Meera LLC a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, reproduce and display Your Content, in each case only to provide the Service to you and, where you choose to share or publish, to the people you share it with. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies kept briefly in routine backups. You confirm you have the rights to anything you upload (including any photo of a person, with that person's consent).
3. Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to create or share content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, is hateful, harassing or sexually exploits anyone, that impersonates or depicts a real person without consent, or that tries to break, overload or reverse-engineer the Service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and we may use automated and manual checks to help enforce them.
4. AI-generated images & intellectual property
Art is produced by third-party AI models and provided “as is”. As between you and us, your finished pages are yours to use, publish and sell, subject to these Terms. Be aware, though, that in many countries the copyright status of AI-generated images is uncertain: some authorities hold that material produced only by a prompt may not be protected by copyright, while meaningful human creative choices, arrangement and editing can strengthen a claim. We don't promise that what you create is protected by copyright or free of third-party rights; you're responsible for checking the rules that apply to you before commercial use.
5. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties to function, including AI providers that generate the art and text (Google’s Gemini; Pollinations may serve as an automatic fallback), our hosting provider, and our payment provider (Stripe). When you generate content, your prompts and any images you upload are sent to the AI provider in use. Each third party handles that data under its own terms and privacy policy, which we don't control; please review them. See the Privacy Policy below for details.
6. Credits, payments & taxes
Credits are a prepaid balance you buy to generate images; each image costs a set number of credits shown in the app. Credits are not money: they have no cash value, can't be transferred or exchanged for cash, and are consumed when you generate. Because generated content is delivered to you immediately, credit purchases are final and non-refundable once credits have been used, except where a refund is required by law; unused credits may be refunded at our discretion or where your local consumer law requires it. Prices are shown before you pay and may be exclusive of tax; any applicable taxes (such as VAT) are calculated and added at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe and we don't store full payment-card numbers. If a feature runs on an AI provider key you supply (for example, Gemini), usage on your key is billed to you by that provider under its pricing, and you're responsible for those charges and for keeping your key secure.
7. Subscriptions, renewal & cancellation
If you buy a subscription, it renews automatically at the end of each billing period (for example, each month) at the then-current price, and your payment method is charged every period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account or by contacting support@mangameera.com. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep access and any included credits until then. Unless your local law requires otherwise, amounts already paid for the current period are not refunded when you cancel. We'll give you notice before any price change, and a changed price applies only to billing periods after the change.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We don't guarantee that AI output will be accurate, appropriate or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Manga Meera LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of content or profits. We work hard to keep your work safe and backed up, but you should keep your own copies of anything important. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
9. Indemnity
You agree to cover Manga Meera LLC for reasonable claims, losses and costs arising from content you create or share through the Service, or from your breach of these Terms or of someone else's rights.
10. Suspension, termination & changes
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or the law. We may also change or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms; we'll announce material changes, and continuing to use the Service after they take effect means you accept them.
11. Governing law & contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, and disputes will be handled by its competent courts, unless mandatory local law gives you other rights. Questions about these Terms? Contact us at support@mangameera.com.
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Manga Meera LLC collects when you use Manga Meera, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. Last updated: 25 August 2026.
What we collect
Content you create (mangas, characters, assets, story notes). Prompts and any images you upload, including a Photo → Manga photo. Account details such as your email, if you create an account. Limited payment information if you subscribe (handled by Stripe; we don't store full card numbers). Basic technical and usage data (such as device/browser type, approximate region, and which features are used) needed to run, secure and improve the Service.
Cookies, local storage & analytics
We store small amounts of data in your browser (cookies and local storage) for two purposes. Essential storage keeps the Service working: signing you in and keeping you signed in (Firebase Authentication), remembering your language, and remembering choices you make in the app; the Service can't function without it. Analytics storage helps us understand and improve the Service: we use PostHog to collect pageviews, feature usage, web performance, error reports and interaction data (such as where on a page people click), tied to a random identifier, and to your account once you sign in. We have deliberately turned session recording off: we do not record your screen or keystrokes, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can switch analytics off (and back on) at any time, from the notice shown on your first visit or from your Account page. Analytics data is processed by PostHog Inc. on servers in the United States under its own privacy policy.
Why we use it & our legal basis
We use your data to provide and maintain the Service (to draw, save and let you manage your mangas), to process payments, to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse, to support you, and to comply with the law. Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our contract with you, your consent (which you can withdraw), our legitimate interest in running and improving the Service, and our legal obligations. We use your data for these stated purposes only (purpose limitation) and collect only what we need (data minimisation).
Who we share it with, and what we don't do
To generate art and text, your prompts and uploaded images are sent to the AI provider in use: Google (Gemini), with Pollinations as an automatic fallback. Payments are processed by Stripe. We also use a hosting provider to run the Service. Each of these processes data under its own terms, which may allow it to process your inputs to provide and improve its services; please review their policies. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your stories, characters or uploaded images to train our own AI models.
International transfers
Manga Meera LLC is a company registered in the State of Florida, USA, and the Service is operated from the United States. The providers listed above may store and process your data on servers in the United States and in other countries, which may be outside the country where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, including the standard contractual clauses used by our providers. By using the Service you understand that your data may be processed in countries other than your own.
How long we keep it & deletion
We keep your content and account data while your account is active so you can return to it, and for a reasonable period afterwards as needed for backups, security and legal compliance, after which we delete or anonymise it. You can delete your mangas and assets in the app at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data by contacting support@mangameera.com.
Your rights & how to use them
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data, for example under the EU or UK GDPR, under US state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, or under other data-protection laws that apply where you are. These commonly include the right to access your personal data, correct it, delete it, receive a copy (portability), object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. We do not sell or share your personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. To exercise any of these, contact support@mangameera.com; we'll respond within the time the law requires. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Security, children & breaches
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, though no online service can be completely secure. The Service isn't directed at children under 13 (or the higher minimum age your country sets), and we don't knowingly collect their data. If a data breach occurs that affects you, we'll act and notify you and the competent authority as required by applicable law.
